A leading data-driven marketing and sales support company has retained our firm to assist in its search for a Vice President of Sales. 

Headquartered in North Carolina, the company is growing quickly and expanding its client base in agriculture, financial services and healthcare.  Founded in 2000, there are now more than 90 employees. 

The Vice President of Sales will report to the COO and actively develop and expand client partnerships for our client’s wide array of products and services.  Customized B2B solutions run the gamut from marketing and sales program strategy and implementation, database design and management, data mining, marketing communications, rebate program management and fulfillment, inbound and outbound call center capabilities, and performance metrics.

The successful candidate must demonstrate:

•   aleast 10 years of successful and relevant sales/business development experience; a significant portion will have been agency-based and focused on data-driven marketing services and sales and direct marketing implementation and program support; 

•   healthcare expertise; strong industry knowledge and existing relationships with B2B healthcare companies including medical devices, pharma and life sciences;

•   a “solutions” mindset; someone who can quickly get up to speed on our client’s unique blend of technology, marketing strategy, and execution services and match value-add services with clients’ needs; a strong comfort level with technology-enabled sales and marketing products and services;

•   a self-starter; someone who can generate his/her own activity and leads;

•   an entrepreneurial spirit and comfort level in a high growth company; a team player;

•  highly professional presence and people skills; excellent presentation and communications prowess;

•   an undergraduate degree from an accredited four-year college; an MBA is a plus.
