Our firm has been retained by an industry-leading, value-added distributor of liquid handling equipment to find Branch Managers for two of their key locations in Atlanta, GA and Jacksonville, FL.
A privately owned company that concentrates in the petroleum, industrial and car wash markets, our client’s focus is to be the single source of supplier equipment and to provide additional services such as electrical, installations, turnkey projects and batching systems, with 24/7 service after the sale. Headquartered in the Southeast, our client has branch offices in seven states.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the successful candidates will bring energy, creativity, and leadership to these branches. He/she will have full profit and loss responsibility, including branch business planning, sales management, working capital oversight, and resource management. Key qualifications include:
• A minimum of ten years’ business experience including some direct sales experience; the ideal candidate will have managed a P&L in the petroleum products industry, knowledge of underground tank storage is required;
• Leadership skills; the ability to hire good people, motivate them, and hold them accountable; must communicate effectively and be able to rally team spirit;
• Sales orientation; must have demonstrated the ability to grow sales; will enjoy meeting customers, identifying growth opportunities, and closing sales; will have the organizational and follow up of typical successful sales people;
• Relationship-building skills; must understand how to develop and leverage business relationships, especially where this relationship is critical to the buying decision;
